Who Is Marsha Piper?

Hello I'm Marsha Piper and this is my husband Lawrence. This picture was taken while on our honeymoon in Florida in 2006. Like many jewelry designers I started making jewelry as a hobby just to have a variety of necklaces, bracelets and earrings that were to my own personal tastes. As my talents improved I started receiving many wonderful comments from my family and friends.

It was then that I started making jewelry to give as gifts for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. I received many genuine thanks for these gifts and eventually many of these receipients started asking me to make them items they could purchase so they could give them as gifts. Then some of these people kept suggesting that I get booth in the local craft shows and sell my items there. It was then I discovered something. I don't like "selling" jewelry.

It seemed that all the successful vendors at the shows were the type who were "good talkers" and would tell folks that a necklace or bracelet "looks wonderful on you" no matter it really looked like on them. I couldn't bring myself to do that, I wanted people to be happy with what they bought so that was my one and only show and I went back to gift giving and private sales.

Then in 2001 I met Lawrence. Lawrence was having a rough point in his life and was underemployed but I had faith in him. Soon he was offered the opportunity to start his own e-commerce business on the internet. With this opportunity he created the highly successful Excalibur Brothers that sells swords, knives & other medieval related items such as jewelry, home decor, and medieval/fantasy clothing. He followed this success with two more sword - medieval - gothic related stores, www.samuariswords4u.com and www.medievalgothicshop.com. It was then that he decided he wanted to put our photography on the internet and opened www.allnatureart.com and it was amazing how fast it started to rank in the search engines for our chosen terms.

It was then that Lawrence convinced me that I too could make a living on the internet. I could put up pictures of my jewelry and people could stop and browse and when they saw something they loved they could buy it but if they didn't they could leave and no feelings would be hurt because it wasn't face to face. (I'm kinda sensitive about rejection.)

I hope you enjoy your visit here and find that special piece for yourself or your loved one. If not I understand and appreciate the time you took to view my creations and hope you will tell your friends about us as you never know what someone else will love.
